PROvendis

The IP service provider PROvendis is partner of the DDHD. PROvendis accelerates the transfer of excellent drug research in North Rhine-Westphalia into industrial projects, especially by continuously scouting for innovative research approaches in all relevant North Rhine-Westphalian universities. PROvendis evaluates those approaches with regard to feasibility, patentability and commercial potential. Moreover, PROvendis runs various activities in order to increase awareness about leveraging research results among relevant scientists.

In addition, PROvendis supports public relations of the DDHD as well as the marketing of its research results. In particular, this includes participation in national and international events and industry meetings.

Since 2002 PROvendis acts as a professional service provider in the entire field of IP management for more than 30 universities as well as for companies and start-ups.

PROvendis provides an exclusive access to licensable inventions of approx. 20,000 scientists from the areas of medicine, natural sciences and engineering. The PROvendis team comprises experienced innovation managers with professional expertise in the fields of biology, chemistry, medicine and pharma. They identify suitable partners, negotiate license agreements and promote long-term research collaborations.
